10 minute "Let's Get Moving" with Meghan Trevorrow

10 minute "Let's Get Moving" with Meghan Trevorrow

This movement flow is a bit different than my other yoga practices. It is a short sequence to get the blood and energy flowing in your body and I promise it will leave you feeling alive and invigorated! As always, listen to your body and don't over-do the movement. As this is a slightly quicker pace than my other practices, there is minimal detail in my guidance and I would recommend some yoga asana experience. It is SO important to remember that yoga is not just a "fitness" practice. The teachings of yoga are spiritual and include meditation, pranayama (breath-work), self-study, and moral guidelines. These tools are meant to help us live our life in a more authentic and aligned way. My hope is that my classes are only a jumping off point for you to dive deep into life-long learning. Some teachers that I've been learning a lot from recently are: Susanna Barkataki - https://www.susannabarkataki.com/ Kaya Mindlin - https://yogawithkaya.com/ Luvena Una Rangel - http://www.thecurvyyogi.com/ Constanza Eliana Chinea - https://www.embodyinclusivity.com/my-story Please check out their work, and feel free to share any resources that you would suggest in the comment section below. Recommended props: none ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm excited to offer classes online to continue to connect with my global community. Thanks for joining me, Meghan

For several years, we had Meghan come into our office once a week to hold a yoga class over the lunch hour.  Our group of 15 to 20 is quite diverse ranging in age from mid-twenties to late fifties with varying degrees of experience and abilities with yoga.  Meghan structures her class to challenge beginners and incorporates more difficult poses and exercises for those more familiar with yoga while ensuring beginners are offered alternative or variations for these poses.  Her attention to the class ensures poses are conducted properly and safely to maximize the effectiveness of the poses and prevent injuries particularly with those new to yoga. Meghan’s class has been a welcome and a popular addition to our work week. We were very happy to have her as our instructor and would recommend her to anyone wanting to hold a class regardless of participant abilities or experience.
